+JeriRose2 You are clueless. Those aren't devil horns. It's the gesture for metal music. Yeah it doesn't make sense that the drummer would do that since Caedmon's Call is far from being considered a metal band but who cares?

I think he was just referencing that he was ready to "rock'n'roll". It wasn't meant as anything Satanic. I understand the roots of the gesture, but I don't think Todd had any intent to infer anything otherwise. I don't think (and I hope) that you aren't insinuating otherwise. Besides, my God is big enough to handle it.

The drummer made the devil horns symbol a couple times at the beginning of the video. I like Cademon's Call, and I love that they are singing a Rich Mullins song...but I also wonder why someone used that symbol. I've heard preachers accused of this, but they are just gesturing during a sermon, and perhaps not aware of the two extended fingers..but this guy did it deliberately...like he was well aware of what he was doing. Does he know this is Satanic? What is his intent?

I was trying to make the point that the person who said they used the Satanic symbol also used God's name in a vain manner. Both are wrong. Why criticize one and do the other? When we take His Name as a swear word it shows that we don't fear Him...as the Bible clearly instructs. His Name is not common or to be held in contempt or treated in an irreverent manner. Let us walk before Him in reverent fear.

Why do so many Christians use the Satanic symbol? Do they not know what this symbolizes? I don't understand this. But also, why do so many Christians use God's name like a swear word as in "Oh my God"? I am so tired of hearing my Lord's name taken vainly by those who should love, reverance and fear Him and hold His Name in the utmost respect. I pray that true followers of Jesus Christ will not do either of these practices (Satanic symbol or take God's Name in vain).

i think people started to stand a this point because most of them knew this song. after this one they only had "hands of the potter" and "lead of love" left. after "i will sing", i noticed the crowd getting more into it. they should have done that song earlier on in the set. i have a feeling that there weren't too many real caedmon's fans there.
