Yes a great song for a great country as you come flying in over the coast of Australia. Singapore to Adelaide over the coast and still got around 5 hours to home.

why this isnt our national anthem, I'll never know... we get stuck Advance Australia fair which noone really knows, yet u play this n everyone knows it n feels it n shed tears when its sung... our present national anthem does nothing, old, outdated, meaningless.

@SugarplumSue I think its a beaut example of the finer parts of our national character; ie.when we hear on the grape vine a mate's got a drama happening ,we don't wait to be asked.we drop what we're doing ,bring what we have and give them a hand

@SugarplumSue ,i think you're missing the point here,its not all about musical talent,there's more going on here ,they know johns the leader here. its about bringing what they have to do their bit with what they have to support the work being done by everybody involved,in a more than worthwhile cause. i think they should be encouraged and thanked for their contribution and support.
