The song is about a man cheating on his girlfriend and why he does it. It is shown from both the man and woman's perspective.

The first verse is from the man's view where he says how good his girl is to him. Ironically, these are the reasons why he cheats on her.

The second verse is from the woman's view where she questions why he treats her like he does, but in the end she stays with him.

The outro is "She Says She Loves Me" by Lamont Carey. The poem is about marital abuse which ties into the last lines of the second verse.
