Marc Cohn's voice sounds pretty close to the 'Closing Time' era Tom Waits - back before Tom's voice became forever the glorious barbed wire, whiskey & cigarettes growl.I love the original so much.Hard to cover Waits - you're hardly likely to improve on those versions - but Marc does a good job here.
