That could be echo on the drums. Sounds more like the drum track on one side is mixed about 1/4 second behind the other. Which will basically do the same effect as echo, but it'll sound a little cleaner and separated. As is with this. In either case, it sounds different. And the general attitude towards something different is to dislike it until it becomes familiar. Me personally, I think it would have sounded better without the drums doing that. Whatever though
