This is very beautiful! We're singing this in my choir, but how are they not moving? Our choir director stresses that we have quality and fun, and that we need to tell a story with our music. Moving around allows the audience to have fun as well :)

the way the project, instead of singing notes all over the place, this is a very controlled piece and was nicely done by this group. only one word you can really say at the of this piece........give it a minute..........GOD DAYUM!!!!

Really love the way they sing this song. First time I listen to this song was 2 months ago from our university choir. They were make me say "wow"... But this choir, makes me say "WOOOOW !!" every time I listen to this. Great job !!

Too Broadway for me. It lacks the dark timbre and soul that a negro spiritual requires. It's nice ear candy, but it's too saccharine for a negro spiritual.

I really like how the girls didn't outshine the guys. It sounds a lot better when its a 50-50 split. Excellent performance, truly.

but its the way the sang it, its a negro spiritual, i listen to another recording of this same song, sung by the same group, an i didnt like it at all, this Recording is a little better, but alot of the vowels sound spread more from the sopranos, like world an joy, for example, it needs to be sung with a richer an thicker sound, it doesnt really sound like a Negro spiritual, it sounds like this kind of tone, would be for a song like "Get along home Little Cindy, I wish I was an apple", etc..
