Mississippi Mass Choir - Declaration Of Dependence (DVD) Original Release Date: June 3, 2014

One of the most popular and beloved choirs in gospel music– the Mississippi Mass Choir– is turning 25 this year!

To celebrate, the chart-topping 250+ voice Mississippi Mass Choir will release its newest album, Declaration of Dependence, on June 3, 2014. Produced by Mississippi natives Stan Jones, Jerry Smith, David R. Curry Jr. and Jerry Mannery, Declaration of Dependence breathes new life into this legendary choir.The project’s first single, “God’s On Your Side,” features the incomparable vocals of Le’Andria Johnson and is already connecting with old and new fans at radio.

Declaration of Dependence, a live CD and companion DVD project, will include a special tribute to Frank Williams, the group’s beloved executive director who passed in 1993. As part of the tribute, the choir recorded a medley of some of their most famous songs including “Your Grace and Mercy,” “Having You There,” “Near The Cross,” “Just Can’t Tell You How Good He’s Been” and “Lord We Praise You.”
