They never used synths at all. its all true instruments. The spaceship sounds on thirdstage are true effects from tom's hyperspace pedal that he created. so all their music is original without synths

I saw Hybrid Ice in in lock haven Pa and its pretty awesome that they come from Pa and got this far as a band for 40+ years.

Boston put "no synthesizers used no computers used" on their first albums, and if you listen you can tell it is all real instruments. Only on 3rd Stage did they start using some synths.

I'm a huge Hybrid Ice fan goes way back, I saw them last year and they still have it... can't imagine anyone else doing this song and having Chris in lead vocals...Not a huge Boston fan and I would have to say it's probably "more than a feeling" I wouldn't like their version...just saying!

Love Hybrid Ice. They wrote and performed the original. I prefer it and, while a huge Boston fan, I don't think Boston did this one justice. Chris on vocals makes the song, so maybe it's not Boston's fault. It's one person's opinion, I suppose, but Hybrid Ice had harmonies that were fantastic.

Fuck off, Boston hate synthesizers, they put on the back of their albums "no synthesizers used". Secondly this song is shit. Thirdly, Boston's version is kick ass and they piss all over hybrid ice. Finally, your childish, and Boston aren't programmed, they just can't help but play awesome music, and convert shit songs like "Magdalene" into great rock songs. And I didn't find peace in this music, I found fuck all.
