Why should the solo be the only reason to discuss the song? The lightning certainly stays in your mind long after the last bolt strikes the ground... like the solo's probably trying to suggest. God, I haven't heard anything this visceral since Captain Beefheart. I'm particularly taken by the guitar's transition from the chorus to the verse. Like the arrival of clouds that indicate the coming of the storm... or a puff of smoke, with its strange desire to simply waft with the wind. Come on, this is Youtube. What do you expect?
