I cannot thank you enough. It blows my mind how difficult it is to find clear fundamental instructions. I was so annoyed/bother by not being able to find anything with clear instructions for beginners that once I understood Traktor soundly I was going to make a video going over interface, config, what one needs to know and/or should know about this program. If you haven't added the track into Traktor's collection, you can't search for it in Traktor. You're best bet is to search for it on your computer and add it into Traktor.

great tutorial! can you tell me how can i search for a song, that i don't know where it is (in which folder)? becouse now if i write in the search box the name of the artist, it only search in the specific folder that i chose... how do i search in whole computer to find out the song? thanks :)

I would imagine you would change that in the resolution options in the settings

Unless they changed something in the latest version...In the deck options, there is the deck size option. Change it to full.

Updated to new software 2.63 version, changed a few things my decks have gone really small on my layout, any ideas how to get them backt to regular size? BIG HELP!! thanks

For keying I use Mixed in Key. For tagging I use Mp3tag.
