I honestly didn't really see any increase in heaviness. They're a soft rock-regular rock band through and through. They're heaviest song from what I can see is still "Lose Control" but it would be just plain silly to call that heavy. Demon Hunter is heavy. Skillet is Hard Rock in about half of their songs. House of Heroes is a feel good band rock band.

They toured together for a good while, so it might be a little homage to Mike. I caught their show at the 86 in Cincy with Mike Mains and the Branches and it was insane!!!!

Don't worry, I've been a fan of House of Heroes for a while now. But I have to admit, this new album will definitely be more heavier than the likes of Suburba or The End is Not The End which had me concerned. But this and "Out My Way" has changed my mind. :)

That's ok, because none of House of Heroes goes beyond just plain rock, there is no heavy rock here. Unless you mean the heavy themes and messages contained inside the songs, then they're plenty heavy!
