I switched the 11 one with 13, I like ernie ball lot, I ve been playing them for few years and yet, I dont want to change it, but on my other guitar I have the same 58-11 set and there is absolutely no problem with tones everything rings fine, I am planning to get some 64 string for dropped A string on this guitar for easier tremolo but this set up is quite good so far

How do you not loose intonation? For that tuning i usually use 12s or 13s. I hate ernie ball, just my opinion not knocking em, i use DR DDTs because i find them more flexible and easier on bends.

It was more like a question than an answer. But yeah i think your right it wasnt drop a i never played in a standard so i didnt recognize the tuning. A standard sounds about right. I saw them open for cannibal corpse and the guitarist was using power chords like it was standard tuning so i automatically thought b standard seven string tuning. (They were using RG7s) I hope to get one soon.

I think they play in A standard, you can hear it, that it is lower than B, also this cover I am usually plaing it along with record and the tones are ok

i think they play in b standard on seven strings now but when they played on six strings they played in A D B E F A or some other crazy a tuning i had never seen before.
