I grew up on Portishead, Massive Attack, Sneaker Pimps etc as a kid in the 90s but somehow I missed Hooverphonic. Thanks Pandora for clueing me in!

As far as I know they made only the first album with this singer (Liesje) The second is called - Blue wonder power milk - With the singer "Geike" They did 7 albums I believe with her... Now they have a girl named Noémie...

Good info regarding Hooverphonic on Wikipedia. Highly recommended. It's Liesje Sadonius' hypnotic voice that's heard on A New Stereophonic Sound Spectacular, and after this CD, she opted out of the band, and that's when Geike Arnaert came into the picture. The sound went from "chill" and "ethereal" to "lyrical", and finally, to "POP".
