Lyrics: Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick and think of youCaught up in circles confusion is nothing newFlashback warm nights, almost left behindSuitcases of memories time afterSometimes you picture me, I'm walking too far aheadYou're calling to me, I can't hear what you've saidThen you say go slow, I fall behindThe second hand unwindsIf you're lost you can look and you will find meTime after timeIf you fall I will catch you, I'll be waitingTime after timeIf you're lost you can look and you will find meTime after timeIf you fall I will catch you, I will be waitingTime after timeAfter my picture fades and darkness has turned to grayWatching through windows, you're wondering if I'm okaySecrets stolen from deep inside, the drum beats out of timeIf you're lost you can look and you will find meTime after timeIf you fall I will catch you, I'll be waitingTime after time, I'll be waitingYou say go slow, I fall behindThe second hand unwindsIf you're lost you can look and you will find meTime after timeIf you fall I will catch you, I'll be waitingTime after timeIf you're lost you can look and you will find meTime after timeIf you fall I will catch you, I will be waitingTime after time, time after time, time after timeTime after time, I will be waitingTime after time, time after timeTime after time, time after timeTime after time, time after timeTime after time, time after timeTime after time, time after timeRead more: Hooters - Time After Time (Live) Lyrics | MetroLyrics

シンディローパーのバージョンが有名だけど、提供元はこのグループ。こっちのバージョンも味があっていいと思うんだけど...

They also backed up Cyndi on this song. Listen to the album version and you hear the Hooters!

One of the most underrated bands of the 80s.

This song was co-written by Rob Hyman and I love The Hooters version of this song. Most people only remember this as a Cyndi Lauper song but in fact The Hooters used to perform this frequently live in the early days. This is still one of my all time favorite bands.

これを聴くと、「こっちがオリジナルバージョンなんだな」って、感じます。Cyndiのバージョンも良いけど、スッと入ってくるのはこっち。
