So love the Gurus - especially their earlier stuff. Bands in pubs how they should be! Brad looking gorgeous as always ;) And Harold Park Paceway - long gone now - used to have some fun times there! Saw the Gurus a few times, tripped over Dave in Bondi once and was dumbstruck for words! Such good times and awesome band always :)

Still my favourite Gurus song. I first heard it on Countdown in 1983 and instantly fell in love with it. Still fabulous after all these years.

6. Hoodoo Gurus - My GirlOnce a girl took my love until I couldn't give anymore,Then I tried to pretend not to see what I couldn't ignore. My girl don't love me at allAnymore.I took her to the dance and then I didn't see her all night. Then a friend said he saw her with some other boy just outside. When I went out she was alone. She said, "I would like to go home"I asked her, "Who were you with?"She said, "No-one."I could tell that she lied(And a voice said inside)My girl don't love me at allAnymore. Not at all.Hoodoo Gurus - My Girl
