schulze like eno for the e-sounds: dear FM, here in Italy there's a song by Edoardo Bennato"Just the same old songs"(Sono solo canzonette). Here is what I meant even most popular & tedious Yes are part of the progressive feel to me. Without offending Mr. Hooper & H.Cow which get a magnificent creativity. We have some familiarity with Opera & "Cavatina" hence we appreciated Charisma Label first.

I s'pose because 'Progressive' rock has become a bit of a caricature,in hindsight.Henry Cow etc were literally progressive though and bear little resemblance to other bands lumped together in that genre,like Yes ,Gentle Giant or ELP etc.
