on the second album yes, but on this b-side, no. i study pics of greg`s setup, and i met him and asked about some stuffs... he tries to hide everything in plain sight. it`s kind of obvious, but not to the un-trained eye... like i said, that dry distortion makes it sound sampled... and i totally agree. no more electronic play time. time for bass, drums and guitar:)

how do u know so much about the mans setup?--i saw them live in nOLA, AND ON THERE SECOND ALBUM THEY USED SAMPLING AND A LOT OF KEYBOARDS, I LIKE AUTOLUX--ALOT--I JUST WISH THEY'D STOP PLAYING AROUND WITH EFFECTS AND GET BACK TO ROCKING OUT------------ROCK IS NEEDED MORE NOW THAN EVER.

they dont sample. gregs guitar is supposed to sound sampled, but it is not. his set up is made up of a 1991 gibson 30th anniversary sg, multiple effects including noise generators, distortion pedals set with the tone low ( thats how he got that sound)ect. and a fender twin reverb that he uses as a head for a strange unidentified speaker cab

First off, it`s actually called shoegaze or shoegazing, not shoegazer. Second, if you don`t like it, just leave. You dont have to be a dick about it.

Get ready for it, this isn't any good. His voice is a monotone piece of shit, which completely destroys the concept of the song which is this hectic, crazy, fantastic loud ride, This is soft, weird, and not good. Much like a lot of their songs. The only cool part of Autlux is Carla Azar's drumming prowess, the guy's voice is a let down. "Shoegazer" is just a shit excuse for boring music.
