Heidevolk create with "Uit oude grond" a musical and lyrical monument for the legends and sagas of their homeland Gelderland. The sextet stays tenaciously true by enveloping Gelderland's history in a compactly woven garb of folk and metal. Authentic traditional folk instruments meet the heaviness of the electric guitars and the thundering drums, providing the perfect setting for the sweeping clean vocals of both frontmen. a part of holland was the home of saksen, we dutchmen are a part of saksen and other germanic folk, the invluence that we all use to belief in ancient gods of the north still remains in the netherland like a few city got the name odin in it and 3 days of our week are named after gods from the north, woensdag (wednesday) named after wodan/odin, donderdag (thursday) named after Thor and vrijdag( friday) named after frig12 years назад
