Love all her music, a wonderful traditional folk singer, but this song was just wonderful so funny, no there is no swearing (as many have said) and lots of traditional folk songs came from the old drinking places and I'm sure the songs would have been a lot less demure than this one, the last line was fantastic!

She didn't swear! Ass is another word for a donkey, that's what she meant. It was used as a word for a donkey before it was a bad word (even now it's not really a swear word, just crude)

I just noticed that there's no background music to this song. It took me so long to notice because Heather has such a wonderful voice that it still sounds melodious even with no music!

@GinaC1123 Pardon me, but I didn't hear any swearing in the song and ass is simply another word for donkey. So don't worry, though her music is sometimes a bit dirty, it's still good, and as far as swearing in other songs, well, I don't know.

Ass is simply the name for a donkey but in this context it was used as that and to bring a sexual conotation I love this song its hilarious, I love all her songs want CDs... gonna give my mom a collection of CDs every year for christmas, b-day, and mothers day from now on and I'm going to barrow them when ever I come over and load the songs onto my computer as well...
