"emo" music is classified that way because of the type of harmonies that are used. im not saying they are bad, they are actually quite good. but you can see what people mean by the stereotypical "emotional" label. they don't sound happy, they all sound sad or depressed. again doesn't make it bad, but most people associate the word emotional with sadness. if your girl is being emotional, is she happy or sad? typically sad. that what people mean by emo. the sad, depressed harmonies.

@roxa3soraxx Casey Calvert is Hawthorne height screamer/guitarist sadly Casey died due to mix of drug (I don't wanna go in to detail) but the band is still together they got Micah (There guitarist) screaming on some album but that it.JT Woodruff (the singer) say he would't be needing another screamer in memory of Casey and this result the band is so to say less popular than it is I respect all the band choice regardless of what people think R.I.P Casey Calvert
