I am off to see Hawlords next month who are a far better band, are ALL ex HW members still retain the ethos of early Hawkwind, they remember why they are there and who put them there and that they are playing for an audience not themselves and no one else. Nick Turner is also a far superior human being than Dave Brock any day.

What do you think I have done. I haven't been back here until today to answer these stupid comments. I think they are now crap because the music is all wishy washy hippy dippy shite. It has NO attitude about it and simply meanders in a limp wristed manner. I also watched HW for many decades buI got sick of their attitude and lack of care for the people who go to the gigs it is now just turn up go through the motions and take the cash don't cite age because Cream were amazing at their reunion gig

Don't be so up yourself. One HAS to listen to it to ascertain whether one likes it or not. Since I listened to it here I haven't again and won't be because unlike you who obviously goes back again to stuff you don't like (you must do to think anyone else is stupid enough to) I move on to pastures new and greener. HW IMHO are washed up and passed it. They have totally lost the original HW ethos and are now just self indulgent tossers who don't play for the people any more but only for DAVE BROCK

Sorry but I am with Keku42 on this one. I can't stand what they are doing now. I love all the early stuff though. Yjis is just too machine led and controlled. Compare this with anything off Text of Festival (the vinyl NOT the CD) and you will see what a lack of energy they have now. Personally I prefer Hawklords. They carry the original ethos of what Hawkwind were about. I grew up with them as well and was into them when before Lemmy was there. IMHO Hawkwind the first official album is better.

Cannot understand the Keku42 comment re no future,New album,New sounds,New musicians,New material.Hawkwind does have a proud past as do a lot of bands,but it certainly has a future not to be missed.I grew up with them & for me now i find them as fresh as ever.
