This must have been one of his last public performances. He was diagnosed in 2004 with advanced prostate cancer that had already spread to his bones. His annual physical found it and he cancelled his tour. I know of no other singer/songwriter/musician who had the ability to reach each member of the audience on such an amazing level. I saw him 6 times in concert and was always in awe of what he was able to accomplish. He could even make the audience laugh. Now that is a well rounded and seasoned performer extraordinaire.9 years назад
