Punk is a way of life-AND a type of fashion with ripped jeans. Though just because you embrace one of those aspects doesn't mean you have to embrace the other. I don't care if you dress like a mail man and listen to punk-I just personally didn't like it when everyone was wearing baggy pants. But that's not exclusive to my feelings about punk. I just happen to hate baggy pants.

I never understood the concept of "skate punk"-I mean I like the music-or at least I like NOFX , but the term has always bothered me. I mean ripped jeans and leather jacket and converse and that was "punk" -but all the kids with the baggy pants and skateboards listening to punk must have been a California thing . And now all the "skater" kids seem to listen to heavy metal.
