folks, this man "was" Country Music. ladies and gentlemen, Hank Williams.... one of the great's of Real True Country Music, and not the crap their playing on top 40 supposed country music radio. i've not listened to radio in several years, but if i did, i could be caught up in bout 45 minutes, or less. so enjoy youtube, well until google decide to before long giggle-it up, or youggle-it up, which ever. please remember to vote "like--thumbs-ups" these videos, these folks spend a lot of their time in uploading them. time and energy, i always vote-up almost every video i watch, and if i happen to hate one, i just go to the next one. take care, and God bless.

ray price heard his friend hank tell his true love that he wouldnt last a year without her. he told her this new years eve 1951. he died quietly in the back of a car between va and west va on new years day 1953. he had to have been one tough son of a b!#@h. sometimes a heart wont stop believin even if it means the end.

Wonder who's steelin on this tune? It doesn't sound like Don Helm's style of playing. This sounds like one of the Mother's Best recordings, and I know other musicians set in from time to time.

Hank Williams Sr. is the finest country singer on earth, he has beautiful tone, he writes his own songs, plays guitar too, his emotions are very strongly felt when listen to him singing. Hank's band is country. To top it off, Hank can yodel, and my dad said the best singers yodel, and if you like yodeling, listen to some of LeAnn Rimes, Dwight Yokum and another of my very favorites Ronnie Van Zant's song (of his band : Lynryd Skynyrd, song is Was I Right or Wrong' Ronnie yodels too, Hank and Ronnie died very young, so you would notice a cry in their voices as they sing, good listeners detect this in great singers. Hank hits the mood right in all of his songs, and my dad also said some advice, to people , if you don't like Hank's music don't listen, leaving airspace open so people like me can enjoy listening to Hank and the fine yodelers out there.. Hank's vocal range is very broad can go low and high, the best singers on earth can achieve this, he has done what many cannot do.
