In the early sixties my dad lived in south east Kansas. He said that Hank would often play that area of the country and that he always put on a great show. Before he had me and my brother, my dad lived every word of this song :) RIP dad.

One of the country songs that you could hear on Juke Boxes all over Texas and the US. He showed up at the Stagecoach dance hall a few times. The car lot was full.

Merle played on all of Hank's early tunes. Later, when I heard him in COS, Hank learned all those licks himself. The steel player was Curly Chawkerl... one of the best!!Rick Jolley, Colorado Spgs

It would be a shame for you not to build muscle when these other people do it easily using Lean Body Maximizer (check it out on Google).

Pedal steels have the pedals to bend certain strings to go from one chord to another. Don Helms from Hank Sr's band didn't use pedals. After that, they had the "new" stuff to bend just one string at a time. If you listen after 1957 country stuff you'll hear it.
