I like watching movies like this from time to time to see certain actors and get a bright sunny chirpy comedy fix. Sure they're all generally the same, and some are better than others, but they look good and don't really try to be anything other than what they are.

True. The only two possible messages I got from his movie were: 1) Keep pushing for an apology and receive it even if in the end it was a forced and fake (the fridge scene bs) 2) A bully is not remorse until he/she gets caught in the lie and has no way out. 3) You should lower yourself to the bully's level and go through all that fiasco just to get an ''I'm sorry''. If the bully was sorry, he/she would be apologizing the first minute they see you, without getting reminded.

Yeah, it's a typical ''Everyone apologizes, forgives right away and is best friends'' Disney movie. Unrealistic, both women would still be hating each other. I know no one that went from hating someone to loving him/her the following day.
