This traditional Czech carol is performed here on my vintage 1950 Galanti accordion, a 4/ 5 reed instrument with the bassoon reeds in the tone chamber. Alternate titles for this song are "Rocking Carol," "Rocking Song," "Rocking," or "Lullaby." Collected by Miss Jacubickova in 1920, this carol was translated by Percy Dearmer and placed in the Oxford Book of Carols in 1928.
