The difference between her and Avril's song is that1. Her pronunciation of the Japanese language is superbly better than Lavigne's (suggesting she takes a deeper interest in the language) 2. She's paying homage to Harajuku fashion and not appropriating obvious and many random parts of Japanese culture that the Western world already shoves at us all the time
