Hendrix revolutionized the way we view electric guitar, and guitar playing in general. Without him, the world would not have seen the likes of a Stevie Ray Vaughan or Joe Satriani. Hendrix had a certain level of energy and charisma with electric guitar playing that perhaps no one has been able to capture. PURE RAW ENERGY. Sure he made plenty of mistakes, but he did an excellent job at bringing music to life and shocking an otherwise stagnant American rock scene. Of course he had to make it in Britain to even get noticed, because at the time in the 60's America had barely anything to show for rock n' roll, except for Doors and CCR. Jimi gave a raw energy to rock music that is still influencing players today, as well as putting America on the map for heavy music. Just my opinion though, to me the Doors, CCR, Grateful Dead are great bands however they are not heavy in the least.

Guthrie is amazing. But the reason this is titled Jimi Hendrix style TRACK is because the track is a blues and similar to Red House. Realize it doesn't say Jimi style solo.
