Thank to all of our soldiers for all they risk and endure. I don't support many of the choices politicians make, especially regarding policing the world... But, I absolutely respect every man and woman who defends the freedom I daily take for granted. Support. Love. Thankfulness. You are amazing individuals.

And many religious groups have many reasons for exclusion. Simply not believing everything they say will apparently have me going to hell in a matter of years. I can hardly help but poke fun at such openly hypocritical cannon. Having been a Christian nearly all my life, I realized in high school how many discrepancies I had with the bible, and decided to live according to my moral code. My moral code tells me that my personal beliefs aren't doing any real harm in the world, unlike all the wars.

"I have the utmost respect for personal beliefs that DO NOT SHUN THE PERSONAL BELIEFS OF OTHERS, OR TRAMPLES ON HUMAN RIGHTS." Therefore, I do not see my point of view as hypocrisy. I'm merely reciprocating in the hopes that they realize how many of them are seen (i.e. blind, ignorant, misinformed, etc, etc.) Here's a quote I like, which carries the general air of most atheists I've met. "If you could reason with religious people there would be no religious people" -Hugh Laurie

I understand that, and it makes sense to me - I might even agree with you. That still doesn't address the hypocrisy that seems evident in your previous statement, however...

If both sides were mutually accepting of all peoples, I wouldn't have as large of a problem with either of them. The exclusivity of (many) religions goes directly against their own teachings, making me skeptical of the morality of that religion. You could say I am unaccepting of those who are unaccepting, because they are supporting separation. I have the utmost respect for personal beliefs that do not shun the personal beliefs of others, or trample on human rights.

Just because there is no proof of something is not a reason to reject it. You may simply not see the proof. On the other hand, when you claim something, but have no proof to back that claim up, you're not likely to persuade anyone of anything. Many atheists reject religion because they have not been presented proof of a god. Many religious people reject atheism because they believe atheism is a lack of vision. My rejection of both comes from my belief that both are prone to conflict.

I like a lot of what you're saying, but saying that agnosticism is "the" logical path suggests an exclusivity that seems pretty hypocritical and unaccepting when compared to the rest of your statement. I guess that may not have been what you meant to convey, but that's what I understood of what you said.

I am referring to our U.S soldiers, The fact that a nation has military might and country men who are willing to defend it, is not the PROBLEM. its the politicians of every country who send there troops in harms ways. So the PROBLEM is NOT THE TROOPS but the people who vote to put the politicians in office who send our brothers, sister, mothers and fathers into harms way. Religion is one of many things detrimental to humanity, the most detrimental is humanity itself. Acceptance is a choice.

Soldiers are not the "(PEACE) keepers of the world." Soldiers are the world's PROBLEM, not the SOLUTION Most religion is detrimental to our planet, and all people living on it, because it separates us needlessly, and without the possibility of acceptance of other religion. We kill in it's name. It teaches people to be OK with not understanding things, in a world that no longer needs those mystical explanations for strange phenomena. Rational thought exposes Agnosticism as the logical path.

Ya. God takes sides in a war to make sure one group crushes the other instead of helping them get to an agreement. Seems legit. If you are doing crap that he explicitly told you not to do, then don't expect his support. Thou shalt not kill, anyone?

ones who take responsibility for the decisions of the government. We go to war because this country decided to, and someone has to pay the price for it. War won't stop until the people at home decide to stop looking at it as an answer to our problems.

I never risked my life for war, I risked my life so others wouldn't have to. Take a moment to understand being a soldier doesn't mean I support war or killing. I am a pacifist. But as long as other people are trying to kill us (and this "us" I'm talking about includes you), someone has to stand and fight. I don't need or want your support but I can't ignore your ignorance. Take your protests and bring them to the politicians and your fellow civilians. Don't take it out on us for being the
