Another loose jam but this time with much higher quality video and sound. The amp volume is wide open to get the output valves cooking and then the volume to the speaker is attenuated via the THD hotplate. Both volume pots on the guitar are in the "pulled" position which splits the coils of each pickup, therefore I am using the guitar in single coil mode.

Which JP 21 wiring are you using? Duncan 360, JonesyBlues, or Jersey Shore?

Hey! Great sound! Just a stupid question: i would like to buy an attenuator for my classic 30, is it simple to connect it to the amp?

This kinds of me of when Jimmy Page hits those hurricanes of frenzied note flurries during his faster lead breaks. Very raw, yet strangely appropriate and refined. You sound more sober than he was though...LOL

@studioman2 Thanks for you comments. The room reverb was a combination of the real room and the default room reverb plugin within Sony Vegas Pro video editing suite

@godoftone The pickups are from wcrguitar crossroads in the neck and a darkburst in the bridge. Not forgetting I'm using the amp really cranked and then bringing the actual volume down by the hotplate.

Righteous tone. Thinking about doing that JP mod on my Les Paul (*also an Epi), and was wondering what kind of p'ups you're using. PAF style or other? Thanks and keep rockin'.

@ddos411 No, it's definitely Epiphone, and I changed the pickups and wiring

@Razevok Yes, I will do that this weekend.

It's worth the wonga in my opinion as it allows you to really get the output valves cooking and singing.

That's handy because I have a classic 50 and have been wondering if I should get a Hotplate for it. Sounds pretty good.
