As strange a topic as it seems, what I gather, vaguely, is that it's about God returning and reinstating Satan to his grace? Satan is the "dark angel," and he has been separated from god through his sin, though he nonetheless belongs to god's celestial patrimony. Despite the fact that the actual theological history of Satan point to his role as god's loyal inquisitor, I presume this song is entertaining the notion of a redemption of the popularly conceived "evil Satan" character.
