My 27 year old cousin passed away unexpectedly a week ago today. The Grateful Dead is her favorite band. She even named her pet pug Jerry. Three of her friends sang this song at her funeral yesterday. It was the most wonderful tribute to the most free-spirited, genuine, loving woman. I know she was smiling down on us. Thank you Grateful Dead for this song. Rest in peace Katie. <3

Gotta be the most inspired album the Dead ever did. As I understand it Jerry and another member (can't remember which one) had both lost a parent just prior to this album. I've never heard such well done harmonies as this by the Dead.
