Love this final boss theme, too bad the final boss itself looks like crap. :P Not to mention is too easy. Hopefully the HD versions new difficulty mode will fix that.

Okay, it is true - this "end boss" was really easy. But i would like to remind you, that in Grandia I, for example, you fight first against Gaias Core (That huge condomshaped thing with the 2 little condoms) and AFTER you beat that, you have to fight against the "Endboss" which is a screwed brainheartthing, BUT: It is far easier than Zera. So, if you take this example, and the fact that Grandia 2 has Elements from Grandia I (Loads of Music, for example) It is clear that the 2 last battles in Grandia 1 are kinda the same in Grandia 2. You Fight vs the Core first, which isn't that easy if you just rush the story, and after that is Zera, who is far easier than the one before.

It's still the best final boss music from any RPG I've heard to date. (In before "One Winged Angel beats this you noob" calls from FF Fanboys lol)Really captures the feel of fighting something pretending to be Holy/A god. The Valmar Core fight is still one of my favourite bosses that I've ever fought against. Still havent managed a flawless against it yet but oh so close =( lol. Yeah that's how much I've played Grandia II XD

the form before you fight millenia is supposed to be the real final battle. then that butterfly form is supposed to be a representation of his frailness. Such as a butterfly has its wing design to hold off predators, zeras final form issupposed to represent something like this.

I played the PC version of this game and ... I guess Zera's sound file when he died wasn't the right one. /: I can't quite remember anymore what he said but it seriously didn't fit. I went through the sound files once or twice and found what would actually fit more. (It's been such a long time though...) Well, the PC version had some other troubles. You guys remember that ice spell that moves the screen up? No screen moving up there in the PC version, among other small errors. Still a great game

It was epic, but I guess the point was that it wasn't as strong as the rest of the body. Plus you only had three party members instead of the usual four.
