the two shows were put together for granada tv's 25th anniversary and was introduced by the late tony wilson.

Thanks for the clarification. Little Richard's blistering performance has to be one of the best ever captured on TV - I don't believe it's commercially available anywhere. This excerpt is from my 1981 VHS recording of the "Remember This - Granada 25 Years" TV Program.

This was originally two seperate broadcasts: (1) 'It's Little Richard!' (Little Richard, Sounds Inc., Shirelles), (2) 'Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On' (Jerry Lee, Gene, Animals). It was only called 'Don't Knock The Rock' when highlights of the two shows were put together in 1977.
