Gorefest 1991 MindlossЭто первый альбом культовой голландской команды, хотя надо писать из Нидерландов )). Поназаписав ряд достаточно ходовых демок, группа решила выходить на новый уровень. И здесь она не пожалела никого и ничего. Jan-Chris de Koeijer - басист и вокалист здесь. Голос его сродни иерихонской трубе, кричит так, что стены шатаются. Некоторые критики прямо заявили, что у него неандертальский вокал )).Я слушаю, правда, ремастер нуклеар бластовский, а не то, что было издано на другой конторе в 1991 году - Foundation 2000, но думаю и ранее группа звучала солидно и брутально. Это плотный звук, очень объемный. Гитары сногсшибательные, мастерские и малозатейливые , но так вшиты в контекст, что создается удивительное впечатление цельности и главное, монолитности. Причем иногда гитарная работа замедляется до дэт-дума. такое бывает здесь нечасто, но это сильно заметно из-за своей контрастности в подаче. Начало Foetal Carnage, к примеру, еще в паре мест.Диск высоко оценен на архивах — выше 90 пунктов из ста. А признанный спец по дэту Wim Baelus из Aardshok magazine поставил тогда 9,5 из 10, и заметил, что группа с первого альбома выработала свой стиль.10 years назад

Years ago I got this cd from the Columbia House music club! I was pretty lucky,'cos not too long after that,it was no longer available. I miss Columbia House,they had a lot of cool Metal releases over the years for some pretty cheap prices. They used to have a "buy 1 cd at regular price ,get 4 cds free" deal several times a year with the full cost totalling out to around $33 (including shipping) for 5 cds!
