And now you are 17 or so, I hope you keep up your mission to convince more peers about this great artist's talent. I'm still doing it at 54, and Gordon Lightfoot and the band are still on the road, winning new audiences of all ages, dozens of shows per year.

@krazykritik Well done, Mate. You've summed it up quite succinctly. Couldn't agree more. Gordie's lost more talent then today's "musicians" will ever have. Gordie's an ICON and the only reason he's not up there with The King is because he was born in Canada and not the good 'ole USA. Thanks Gordie for all you've given us. JW in SC

I've noticed Gordy has been omitting the last verse "high steppin' strutters who land in the gutter" from his live performances the last few years. I love that line-bring it back Gordy or do whatever you wish-you've earned it.

GL is one of my favorites--even if I missed the boat on being Canadian. I'm fairly new to You Tube; I am disappointed that there isn't more GL here. Someone more technologically asute than myself should make this their mission. :) That said, thanks for posting this.
