@ExitosGnosis i had first seen him in 07, his voice was different from his earlier days. , i saw him again this year in march. he was winded. i am grateful he still coems out for us the fan. lord knows he doesnt need the money. this concert was with carter lancaster and not terry clements. :"(

@lindamcd1217 this song means he is tired and wants to reach his destination. he won't be looking up old friends because he will be dead, living with God in heaven. It's a river of light. that's a metaphor for God. ever again has an ominous tist haronicaly. you can hear it if you listen. the poet is usin this for us to take pause. it'sslightly dramatic but then the river goes on carrying us all along to the same destination.
