This is such a beautiful song. It makes me think of all of the special people that I have loved who are no longer with me on this earth. I used to cry whenever I listened to this song, but now, through prayer and meditation, I feel strong when I listen to it. My (and our) God is an Awesome God!!! He brings us through trials and tribulations that we may have never believed that we could go through and survive. My total thanks to the group Bread for putting words to some of the feelings that I may have not been able to express without listening to this song!!!!!!!

Takes me back to a sweltering hot day in NY in summer of '78, Mom driving gramps to LaGuardia to fly back to FL, 8 months after his wife of 50 years died, heartbroken as all hell. My sister was maybe 15 months old, but sensed the situation and cried the whole time. Mom stopped the big Pontiac to change another fuse when the A/C cut out. Few words spoken, but this song was on the radio. We all moved on, but tough day it was, remembering our good byes to my grandmother after an awful battle with cancer over 3 or 4 years.
