A 'golden parachite' is a clause within the contract of (usually) upper level executives in corporations/companies. These clauses provide the executives with compensation if they lose their job after their business is bought out by another company. Some musicians become that which their record labels want them to become, specifically for profits. So I think the golden parachute is a metaphor for that situation in the music industry. I think that is why the song is titled, as such.

I think the overall theme is standing your ground vs retreating when faced with an attacking adversary. The references of clones and ants denote an oncoming army, and arrows are their attacks. "Did you stop them in your tracks? Or join the whole stampede?" This also plays into the overall meaning of the album, in my opinion. Arrows are attacks, anchors are your convictions that root you down. FTM faced immense opposition in years prior to this album, their triumph was holding true to themselves.

Shit, I'm a huge fanboy to FTM, but I'm also a Deftones fan and I can definitely understand how Chino's singing style influenced Darroh. Besides, I think they can both be classified as alt metal. Plus, Deftones were really close with Serj, who later produced FTM's first album. People need to stop being pretentious and appreciate music in all its forms. It's not like you said it sounded like Drake or Lady Gaga or something.
