"Empress of Soul" indeed... What was it about that time? Those dozen years from the low 60's to the mid-70's? It was a bubbling cauldron that produced some of the greatest, uplifting and exciting musical sounds civilization will ever know. I do love the original slower version, but the energy of this performance, the charisma of the lady and the Pips.WOW!.My neighbours must hate me.
