Far the best performance i found on youtube. Maybe the tempo to slow, but the voice can handle it. That's not easy with the vibrato and stay correctly tuned.I played this with Jessey Norman in 1999. Liubov, it would be pleasant to do a concert with you :). Do you like to sing experimental things?

The voice's velvet texture evokes shades of Ms. Bumbry. Could this be a contralto in the making? The low register has breadth not commonly heard in sopranos. Yet she is comfortable in the stratosphere as well. This is regal, arresting, but not haughty, singing with just the right dose of aristocracy. The slow tempo renders the piece much more difficult, of course, since the overarching phrasings demand absolute fluidity. It is well handled here. I would love to hear LB supported by an orchestra in a major concert hall, where she could just let loose all her power. What a glorious moment that would be! I hope LB emerges to world class status touring so that all of us can experience her in person.
