The late 80s/early 90s was a time when GIANTS walked the earth in terms of excellent and intelligent music. Most of those bands were on Touch and Go records, including GVSB, who SHOULD have gone massive, but for some reason didn't. Quite WHY that was we will never know, or maybe we do know - people are fuckin morons!!!

Im thinking the refrain sounds like that Leeds band Terrorvision a little bit. But obviously, these guys had a lot more to offer. Love their early records very much!!

I think Scott sounds more like Richard Butler than Mark E Smith. This video really does suck, what was the budget, $60? I saw a Jawbox/GVSB bill also, Candy Machine weren't on the show tho I have seen them. Candy Machine are actually in my car CD player right now. Haven't aged as well as the other two IMO.
