Where did this song come from? I think this is very probably one of the strongest songs musically extant. I know this is one huge statement but it is so complex musically. Its Stax, Its Blue Note. Its James Last..... ....... but also an English country road. On a Sunday drive kind of but then..... bang! Suddenly big sounds from some huge arena spring out of the hedges. The saxes at the end. What was he thinking? Its Genius. GENIUS.

Yeah, "Himself" was and still is an awesome album, and this for my money is just about the best track on it. Though only by a short head from "Nothing Rhymed", "Houdini Said", "January Git" .....
