It never ceases to amaze me,, all the beautiful heart warming melodies that O'Sullivan has written! I can't imagine our world without songs like, "Alone again,, Claire,, and now,,, this,,"BYE BYE" it's the first time I listened to it,, sorry I missed it in the 1970's,,, how foolish of me,, lol!!! Thanks from the heart for posting this,, and thanks Ray, for having a heart of gold!!!

@doho121 Hi Anthony - I used some old Waterford pictures in the ` We Wil ` video . Gilbert still has such strong connections with Dublin and Cork - as you know he still packs out the concert venues there ! When I found these old images of Ireland I thought they would make a nice video to celebrate that on-going relationship . I like the fact they were taken the same year that the album came out - 1971 - so the whole thing is like a an audio/video snapshot of the time . Merry Christmas !

@gosfanusa Hi Joe - Yes I`m aware of the US version of `Himself ` - I must admit I prefer the British version , especially the great artwork on the cover . The footage of Gilbert here comes from a ` We will ` performance that was partly used recently in the BBC programme ` Kings of Seventies Romance ` - It`s in my uploads as `Gilbert O`Sullivan - A profile ` . I`m not sure where they got the clip from - they must have loads of footage in their vaults as you can see from that tv programme .!

Hi Mo Once again your vision is spot on! "Bye Bye" is one of my favorite songs from Himself. In the US, the LP was altered to fit "Alone Again" and "We Will". Therefore, we never heard "Doing The Best that I Can" and "Susan Van Heusan". Unfortunately, the original artwork was also scrapped in favor of a sweatered G. Thank God for British Imports.Can you tell me what performance you used in the video. I don't recall seeing that B&W clip before. Thanks again. Joe
