Giana Factory

@palmsout Soundvenue is an awful magazine for me they write mostly useless information about music, they will never take a stand or have a real opinion, but they are not to blame they are not the only ones without a spine in Denmark. I have made it my mission to defend the good bands from Denmark who are not getting deserved attention, and point at bands like this one and say "Look, the Emperor has no clothes!" Btw Name a couple of "new" bands from Jutland you like.

@djzenelvis Also, I'm not sure what you are referring to in terms of corruption, but I can tell you that all the showcases that Giana Factory have done in the states are the result of lots of hard work and many emails and phonecalls. No powerful men standing behind the curtain influencing us impressionable Americans.

@djzenelvis as a Danish American, and someone who has worked in the Danish music industry for years (including being named by Soundvenue as the "Dansk musik ambassadør fra New York," I think I'd be willing to say I know a good deal about Danish music. You getting bored by this band only tells me that they are not to your taste, which of course is just fine. But a world class band - that they absolutely are.

@palmsout Maybe in terms that an American can better understand, Copenhagen is doing to Danish music what Nashville is doing to country music.

@palmsout I take it that you are an expert on Danish music then? Probally not... Showcasting Giana Factory , is just what is wrong with the Danish music industry, it is utterly corupt. Bands are not picked for talent, bands from Copenhagen always gets more attention than anyone else. Don't get me wrong Giana factory is not bad, but to lable them as a world class band is simply wrong, I get borred after a few seconds.

@djzenelvis haters gotta hate. but giana factory not getting gigs in the states? i'm going to see them at glasslands & mercury lounge in new york in a couple of weeks. (12th & 15th of march, to be exact)

This suxxs, but what can you expect from Denmark, we always send the lame bands from Copenhagen and not the cool bands from Aarhus! (Like Cola Freaks, but then again Cola freaks are getting gigs in The USA, Giana Factory ain''t I rest my case).
