Hi Jim. I’d dearly love to have the recording of Gerry’s concert from Glasgow Concert Hall. I missed the concert but a friend was there, said it was awesome. I’m a Rafferty buff, ok maybe a bit obsessive, I'm a piano man living in Andalucia, Spain. I got some of the Hamburg tracks, just subscribed to your youtube page & heard "Underwood Lane" - cracking track! Your singing is quite similar to Gerry's and I'd like to hear more... My Dad was a serous fan of Gerrys whom I believe met him a coupe of times in the late seventies early eighties.He used to say (when I asked why he played his music continuously over many years) you wont appreciate until your older son but "Gerry Rafferty could sing the phone book" well I am,I do and he could!, miss you loads Dad+rest in peace Gerry.

The 'missus and I attended that concert (the original date was rescheduled due to flu) It was one of the best musical nights I've ever had. The idea of him not being in the Rock n' Roll hall of fame is a disgrace. Bonnie Raitt was in Glasgow last night (great show) ...she paid great tribute to Gerry. Early on in her show, she sang one of his songs

I have only just found this Alan, and it is bizarre that my best ever concert experience to date was the 1993 Manchester Apollo gig. Two rows from the front, it was musically perfect, and Gerry seemed to be almost enjoying it - I sincerely hope he was, as the entire audience was in raptures. hello alan i saw gerry at his 1993 manchester apollo show and it was the best show iv ever been too and a memory i will cherish.gerrys performance of right down the line that night was spellbinding.thanks for all the videos.gerrys music means an incredible amount to me and my family.
