None of Georgia's record labels did much for her; Mercury didn't even put her photo on one of her most ambitious albums. She really was responsible for own long success. As a person she was full of energy, bounce and humor, very vital and enthusiastic. A nice Jewish girl raised in an orphanage even though her mother was alive. That didn't stop her. She moved from the big band era right through the '60s rock era, always working steadily. Everyone who worked with her liked her.

The song began in France in "Chariot" and Petula Clark had a big hit with it. The English version "I Will Follow Him" was also recorded by Petula, but in the United States it was a hit by Little Peggy March. She had a tremendous career in Europe, though a purely American girl, but just could not get the hits in the States. She is still performing, singing great and looking great.
