Thank you for sharing this wonderful song.It brings back memories of Ward 19, Morisset mental hospital NSW. where I worked with my mate Ken Payne. He kept a Brush Arbor with some of the patients, out in the bush. I only stayed 6 years, left in 1978.But we brought happiness in the lives of those patients with music and singing, every weekend. Some have died knowing that there is a God who loves them.My mate passed away in May of 2010, a great guy. His fav. song was, "Who Am I"We argued about the scriptures, played music and sang Hymns each time we were on the same shift. He was Sr. and I Jr. roundsman on night shift and we visited 21 wards, to help out with trouble spots. Some day we'll meet up with those patients, in a far better land without sickness and sorrow and tears. They have closed down the hospital many years ago. So, if there are nursing staff still on this earth, who can remember me; God bless you. 9.2.15

I really do think that Ernie Mitchell is RIGHT about the country singers today. They are not country.

Jim I have truly been & still am a George Jones fan life long period.I had a 5 pc country band for 30 years & in the many many to many to mention shows I did I sung George Jone's songs on every job. They'll never be another one of him. these so called young country stars are not country, they are rock & rollers with a cowboy hat on.God Bless you Mr Jones....

George Jones and Porter Wagoner were and still are my tonic should the blues or doldrums come around. My faith tells me I'll soon see them when my day has arrived. I pray that this and all of the old school gospel music never loses it's power GOD willing and the creek don't rise. Shalom, Sa-lam, Peace unto all.

Are you serious? You rank Hank Jr as the greatest? He wouldn't even make my top 20. George Jones is #1.....and it isn't even close.

Third greatest behind those Williams boys. 1) Hank Jr. 2) Hank Sr. 3) George Jones

One of the greastest country singers to have ever grace the stage. This man has brought so much joy to millions of people through his elustious career.
