I love that there are those who are talking about moving songs from one album to another... it's The Beatles. Look, I get it, we all have our favorites, and we all know the equity of distribution wasn't always fair for George and Ringo. But trying to recreate any Beatles album is akin to trying to reinvent the wheel... no matter how much you try to modify it you can't beat the original concept.

Sorry. This is not on par with Abbey Road material. George did write those two great songs on the album. Most of the rest of his material is vastly inferior.

Absolutely. I would have relegated Maxwell's to the "B"-side of an Abbey Road single. George should have had 3 songs on both Abbey Road and Let It Be. Wah Wah, or Isn't It A Pity on Abbey Road, and perhaps All Things Must Pass for Let It Be. Fortunately, George got them out on his fine, solo debut release - and what a spectacular set of music that was.

@onehotrican52 You're right. It never did get much airplay when the album came out. And to anyone involved in radio programming at that time (the early 70's), other songs went on to be bestsellers. "Wah Wah" is simply a "classic!" Maybe the sentiment of the song hurt it's chances of becoming a "hit."
